Product Overview: Tavon is a streamlined conversion tool focused exclusively on GIF processing. This application empowers users to upload local GIF files, customize output parameters, complete high-efficiency format conversion, and export standard video files seamlessly. We adopt standardized data protection measures during file conversion to fully safeguard users’ media privacy.

Age Restriction Notice

Tavon’s GIF-to-video conversion service is only available for users aged eighteen (18) and above. Individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from accessing this application, uploading GIF files, adjusting conversion parameters and exporting finished videos. The platform does not provide targeted services for minors and will never actively collect any personal information or media data belonging to underage groups. Unauthorized usage by minors shall result in immediate account restriction, and all legal liabilities shall be borne by users and their legal guardians independently.

1. Introduction & User Consent

This privacy policy defines the data processing standards, privacy protection strategies, user obligations and corresponding rights implemented by Tavon’s operating team (hereinafter referred to as “Operator”) for the GIF conversion service. This formal legally binding agreement applies to all users who download, register and use our product. Any behavior including opening the application, uploading GIF materials and executing format conversion tasks shall be deemed that you have fully read, understood and agreed to all terms of this policy. If you disagree with any clause, you must stop using this service immediately.

2. Data Classification & Collection Scope

We adhere to the core data protection principle of “necessity first and minimal collection”. We never conduct blind over-collection of user data or collect any sensitive private information without user authorization. The data generated and processed during the use of the application is divided into the following two categories:

2.1 User Generated Media Assets

Refers to all GIF animation files actively uploaded by users and standard video files generated after format conversion. All media assets are the exclusive intellectual property of the user. The Operator only obtains temporary local processing permissions to complete conversion tasks, and does not possess any ownership or secondary usage rights of user media content.

2.2 Application Operational Data

Passively collected desensitized data for operational maintenance, including device running parameters, application startup records and functional error logs. This type of data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify any single user, which is only used for internal program debugging, performance optimization and version iteration.

3. Data Authorization & Usage Limitations

Users grant the Operator a non-transferable, revocable limited authorization for the sole purpose of GIF transcoding. The authorized scope is limited to parsing GIF file coding rules, executing user-defined parameter commands, realizing real-time preview and completing video rendering and export. The Operator explicitly promises that without additional written authorization from users, user’s original GIF files and converted videos will never be used for commercial promotion, paid distribution, AI training and other non-service related scenarios.

4. Local Processing & Storage Rules

To eliminate potential privacy leakage risks, Tavon formulates strict data protection rules throughout the file conversion process. We never store users’ original GIF files and converted videos on a long-term basis. The platform only temporarily caches files to complete format decoding, transcoding and video rendering tasks, and all cached media files will be automatically cleared after users finish their conversion tasks.

The Operator will never actively browse, copy, store or transmit users’ uploaded GIFs and converted videos without user authorization. Users have full control over all media files. Users can delete original GIF resources and converted video files at any time. All deletion operations are permanent and irreversible, and the Operator cannot retrieve deleted data for users under any circumstances.

5. User Privileges & Control Authority

As the sole owner of all media files, users enjoy full-cycle autonomous control privileges: upload and delete GIF source files at will before conversion; adjust resolution, frame rate and other parameters to generate customized videos; preview and export converted videos to device local albums; restrict the collection of operational diagnostic data; revoke data processing authorization and deregister accounts permanently. The platform will never charge hidden fees for users to exercise the above basic rights.

6. Third-Party Access Prohibition

Our application runs in an independent closed operating environment. We strictly prohibit any form of third-party data access and external data transmission. The product does not embed third-party tracking SDKs, advertising modules and data sharing interfaces. Under no circumstances will the Operator share, rent, sell or authorize external institutions to obtain user’s media assets and operational data.

Data disclosure is only allowed under compulsory statutory conditions, including responding to valid judicial rulings and official investigation orders issued by legally authorized government departments.

7. User Behavioral Obligations

When using our GIF-to-video conversion function, users need to abide by international network security conventions and local copyright protection laws. It is forbidden to upload and convert GIF resources containing illegal criminal elements, violent and pornographic content, discriminatory statements and copyright-infringing materials. All legal liabilities, economic compensation and penalty losses caused by users’ illegal behaviors shall be borne solely by the user.

8. Policy Revision & Dispute Resolution

The Operator reserves the right to update and revise this privacy policy according to product function iteration, security strategy upgrade and legal policy adjustments. The updated privacy clauses will be published on the dedicated privacy page inside Tavon, with the latest updated date displayed conspicuously. Continuous use of the conversion service after the revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

All disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled via email negotiation preferentially. If both parties fail to reach a consensus, the dispute shall be submitted to the local judicial authority of the Operator for final judgment.
